There should be a Wintersday Hat Giver in either Kam or Lions Arch that will give you each hat for 125 candy cane shards each

Not shocking at all.

They did something similar with the Wintersday art contest announcement as well. Recycling text without making sure it's correct looks really sloppy. Come on Anet! You're supposed to be professionals! At least take 10 seconds to read the text before letting it go live!

I can't wait to see those brand new everlasting reindeer tonics that make their debut in a few weeks!

I freaking LOVE the Horns. I've been waiting for these and was disappointed when we didn't get them at Halloween. I adore the Spectercles (don't much care for the ears, but I know a lot of other people do), though, so I didn't mind then... REALLY happy to see they were added after all. I just bought the sword I've been looking for for quite some time on my warrior and all I needed was a fitting headpiece. None existed until the horns, so I'm happy.

I don't know what I'll do with the halo. I might slap it on my Paragon for lack of anything better.

Was too busy with family that traveled from afar and stayed over at our house to log on to GW on New Years Day. I barely made it to the computer just before midnight PST to get one of the hats (horns), but missed out on the halo.

Oh well, at least I got the better hat.

I like both hats. They do seem to "go with" some of the costumes that have been released recently. My male Warrior probably won't be wearing the halo anytime soon, but my female Monk will. On the other hand, she may or may not wear the horns, but my male Necro will sometimes. My male Mesmer looks fine with either hat. As for my male Ele ... well, the vote's still out on that.

All in all, I think they're well made plus I like the animations.

These were my first Wintersday hats, but I like them. The horns suit my elementalist, Canthan warrior, and Nightfall female necro. The halo works with my two Prophecies mesmers, though I won't have the horns and halo activated all the time. I liked the specs and cat ears at Halloween too. All these hats are better than the "tiaras" of past Wintersdays IMO. Thanks, ANet.

TBH the ice crown, great horns of grenth (the antlers, they look silly in a cool way and even go well with raiment of the lich), wicket hat, and spectercles are the only holiday hats I really like and ever use.

Of course it's disappointing when a new holiday rolls around and the hats are something I'll never want to use, but don't misconstrue that into thinking I don't appreciate the gesture.

in all fairness to Anet, I think as the hat giver was an added bit of generousity at the end of last years event, they probably forgot about his return. So thinking about it that way, the fact they didnt change which hat hes given out deosnt matter if he was unintended to appear in the first place

They are great, I think. Even tho they are not really my taste it's nice to see alot of people like them. However if it was up to me, I really would want the raindeer horns and stuff, god I want them so bad every time i see a dude with them I get so jelous :|

I think the horns are great but they look a little odd on females, I can't really put my finger on it. I do wish you could choose from horns that faced the other way too tho, I like that better. The halo is OK, the only thing I didn't like is the odd way it becomes if you zoom out a little bit. This doesn't really bother me much tho. I like it ^^
